The original office of Margot R. Horn Real Estate, with the "We Lead the Hunt" logo, was established in 1971 at The Irving Hotel specializing in the sale and lease of oceanfront and estate properties from Southampton to East Hampton. The hotel guests included relatives and overflow house guests from the "cottages" nearby whose owners listed their properties and referred their guests.

Although the Irving Hotel no longer stands at the corner of First Neck Lane and Hill Street in the Village of Southampton, it is from this base that the company grew. We maintain a small office which continually gives individual attention to those who wish to do business privately and with strict confidentiality. Some of our sellers do not allow us to advertise their listings. Therefore, we have so-called "quiet" listings. We invite you to our meets!
